Ended up liking this way more than I thought I would. Put me on an emotional roller coaster but it's so GOOD. AMAZINGGGGGG. HEIL X RIVER ALL THE WAY.

I like this manga because I feel like it’s a real depiction of how shit goes down. As in the plot is actually realistic and these things happen in real life. Yes, I think that the characters do display toxic traits but that’s also part of the realistic element. No one expects you to be perfect 100% and the characters reflect that. As people who grow up in dysfunctional homes and having to bear burdens on your shoulders, it’d be more odd if the characters had no flaws at all and could move past it. There’s times when I don’t like the development of the plot but overall, I do think it’s a cute story.
