so basically our fl is the descendant of the friend of the lady of light, whom the goddess gave power to. they were close friends but the lady of light fell in love with someone... err not good, who used her and made her suffer (she still stayed despite his emotional abuse) so then more complicated stuff happened (well, the empire's history is messed up lmao) and the lady of light ended up trapped inside the gates? that the emperor's descendants would close.

every time it opens its actually the lady of light trying to escape but her ex lover devised this plot to stop her even after he died (thus why every emperor is told to close the gates) so then the lady of light got consumed by insanity of solitude and would call out to fl since she's a descendant of her og friend and the fl heard ber and finally freed her but once she did, the lady of light wanted the fl to be alone with her or sum like that cause she now believes men are trash (bit too late for that realization) but because our fl loves the ml, she refused and insisted ml is different.

lady of light then proceeds to try to prove her point (that men are trash and cant be trusted) and she exchanges her soul with fl. fl's soul is in lady of light's body while lady of light is in fl's body and she presented herself as the princess.

She gives up her powers for a dude that she knows doesn’t love her. Is basically the cause for thousands of people dying. And indirectly is the cause for her best friend’s lovers death.

For context: Laontel is Ancia’s name in her past life and she was the best friend of the goddess of Light. The goddess fell in love with Phillip(who is Richard’s past life), who was the emperor in the past. Phillip however was in love with Laontel and Laontel was in love with Rakshal (Blake’s past life). The goddess knew Phillip was in love with Laontel but still gave him her powers in hopes that he will make her his empress and eventually love her. (The goddess will turn into a human) Phillip uses the power to start a plague

You don’t have to bad for him, that fine But you know the pink haired whore is taking advantage of linus and how lonely he was and is use sex to make sure like he doesn’t leave her or something like that. And linus has tried to like communicate and fix their relationship but tommy seems to ignored him and talk about non important stuff, I mean look at ch.1 he was trying to communicate and possibly try to fix their relationship with her but is just tommy not even putting effort in their relationship. But you’re right linus should’ve tried to talk to tommy or broken up with her if you were going to cheat and regretted it, but then again he has to communicate with tommy but she is not even trying at all.

You are completely right and I didn’t even realize that atm. Linus did talk to Tommy and she didn’t acknowledge it. And due to him having trauma, he probably just couldn’t leave cause then what? He probably doesn’t even realize he needs therapy
