I've been reading the web novel and so far there's no sign from the Emperor that he wants to use his daughter in a political marriage. Also Adjest has not attended any public ceremony as a member of the Imperial family so I think Desir/the Starling Party are still in the dark regarding this.

Also the romance is s l o w e r than international snail mail and as of the latest translated chapters there's no definite romantic path for any of our heroes. If you squint, there's a scene where Adjest awkwardly asks Desir not to die and Desir thinks Adjest is cute while the latter is in the infirmary with serious injuries sulking about irony after the end of an arc.

It's not a spoiler if you've read past season 1 though.

Minor Spoiler:
Let's see how it plays out since there's very little to scenes that you could interpret as romantic and when there's interaction bet. RxD or AxD alone it's still ambiguous. Could still go either way. What's clear so far is Pram cheers for the RxD camp. So there's at least 1 person in canon supporting that pairing.

Based on the latest translations by Maldfrogs it could still go either way.
There's been quite a few cute/heartwarming scenes between Romantica and Desir too, especially the talk between them about being patient regarding their magic training. It made my heart melt, even if I low key ship AxD.
Best to wait for future chapters.
