Yes the royal emperor is the villain. He’s technically the first emperor I think of just a past one but he steals the body of the current one to keep living. Finding out his name is also a struggle cause I think he erased it to make sure no one can kick him out.
I’m pretty sure he would take over the next emperor once they’re crowned emperor. So the crown prince, aka crazy dude lol.
I think it’s after this arc that she meets him and see all the past emperors behind him.

There's barely any romance in this. I heard the novel ended without them even kissing! Yeah...they don't kiss. They don't show them dating, just them realising each other's feelings without saying anything? Anyway, if you're hoping for any romance, you'd be disappointed..
