That’s the case in a lot of historical Manhua with emperor’s etc. It’s the normal kind of thing then. Even if he has a harem doesn’t really mean that he likes anyone of them, they could have just been arranged into his harem for political matters. Lots of other similar manhua’s I’ve seen are the same, but the emperor would only love the FL and it’s as if the harem members are strangers to him. Lol I think you might be too used to modern romance stories
