Am I the only one that doesn’t really like the recent developments with the carriage accident and faked memory loss? Like, I kind of wanted more of the mc playing the princess character and slowly changing people’s perspective of her, without her personality doing a 180 shift and “blaming it on the accident” type story line. (Like, I love stories like that, where they have to carefully watch what they say and try to get their feelings across. Mc basically got a free pass to just act however she wants now, which is good, but idk, less interesting to me I guess)
Maybe it’s just cause they made my boy wear more noble clothes and we can’t get sneak peeks at his chest anymore idk lol

Yeah, only the Raymond plot points have been fun for me, I really liked her trying to keep up some of the og princess persona cause it gave her a challenge while trying to convey her feelings. I also like the sophisticated/noble persona with the crazy fangirl in the inside dynamic, but this new plot point lets her drop the act which is kind of a bummer cause it’s what drew me to the series. Like, she’ll act like the usual princess but then sneak out to see kylo’s birthday cafe lol
Tbh maybe cuz i read it so fast I feel she already had that point across by going with a diff partner and joining the black nights so this just pulled a switch on regretful raymond
I guess I just wanted more scenes like that? I’m obv in the unpopular opinion here, but i guess it makes sense since I’m the type that likes stories where for example, if the mc is like an animal that turns into human, I like it when they’re an animal for a while, rather than the immediate switch if that makes sense. Same with crossdressig stories where I like it when the secret is kept up for a while, rather than the immediate reveal. I like it when the story sticks with the original concept for a bit before the big reveal I guess
Like, this story is called closet fan princess, so I kinda wanted her to be more lowkey about it before the big big reveal I guess? Idk, I know I’m usually part of the minority when it comes to these aspects of stories, since a lot of people just want the reveal to be over with, but I really enjoy the parts before the reveal in a lot of stories, since that’s what I came here for if that makes sense
Just the whole switched up personality feels like a cop out I guess. If it was like this from the beginning, I wouldn’t have that big of an issue, but now all pretenses are dropped and I really miss the earlier chapters I guess. Maybe once they start doing missions again, I’ll enjoy it more.
