But I can understand the FL's obsession with money. It's not what I would choose as a basis for a relationship but she hasn't actually harmed him in any way or suggested that he buy things for her and whatnot. She is interested in knowing that she will be well provided for and I mean, it's definitely a factor. Her argument that she's just being true to herself by giving an important criteria is true. Many people will never admit it but they look at this type of stuff anyway, she's just being honest. Yes, it's kinda trashy but also relatable I think. I have more trouble with the fact that it's a "secret" and with the ML's flirting and wavering.
I feel like seeing the POV of all the characters in the story, I can begin to understand a bit their plight. No one's innocent at all, sure but...
The other woman (You chain's co-worker) is not bad per se but what she does is quite contemptible in my opinion. Like you KNOW he's married!! Why not try to have a story with someone that's not. I mean if she were deceived it would be less disgraceful than if she were the one to deceive someone (as she's doing)
You Chan I can't get myself to like him at all. I know the FL cheated too but she stopped herself before it got too far and emotions can't really be controlled, it's just normal to feel something for someone who understands and supports you instead of the person who has been neglecting you for the past two years not just in the bedroom but everywhere else. It's clear he never liked doing anything out of the house so in all the years they've been married the MC has made compromises on top of compromises in exchange for feeling loved and having intimacy but even that's stopped for two years! He only wants a roommate not a wife! If he can't have sex and she desires it maybe they can do other stuff together to satisfy both their desires but his response is to humiliate and ignore her. When he gifts her flowers out of guilt, the happiness she feels is heartbreaking. It just goes to show that he had neglected every aspect of their relationship completely! I mean I don't understand his plight. Plus, for a woman, the time she can try to be a mother is quite limited and they're in their thirties, what do you want her to do? It's normal to get frustrated! Even his mother is constantly on her back putting pressure for something she can do nothing about. She really is in an untenable situation.
I also understand Niina to a point, his wife is a block of ice, literally. At least, she's trying to mend her ways lately so I have hope for their relationship but still...
