Again, it's not hard to just write both Main characters with actual human dialogue and emotions. Jaekyung can be frustrated by his developing feelings and also his medical information being leaked. That's okay, but the idea he can't just use words and just say he doesn't need any comfort (just be standoffish and cold) can get his point across without it being too toxic to handle.
My dude literally shoved his 12 in d**k in Dan without and ounce of prep work...like Dan should have been in tears and shouting in pain. Like y'all authors gotta stop writing anal sex like it's just sticking you tongue into someone's mouth. Foreplay and Prep saves lives and buttholes.
As for Dan...why is he making excuses for Jaekyung for no reason, half the crap he mentioned was barely the bare minimum (maybe outside of paying for gmom's bills). Dan saying Jae has it worse as his butt is being shredded with warning has to be the most bizarre thing I read.
