Why is every angle of the crown prince fine but looking straight at his face make him look like a parody of an overly exaggerated male lead in a manga! Lol his too long sharp chin and beefy neck make him look stupidly funny looking!
As a fellow artist (although a different type, I suck at humans rly) I might be able to help clear this one up. XD
There are times when an inexperienced or just not perfectly skilled artist can draw things at certain angles and have it look incredibly gorgeous while some other angles are...well, let's just say things might not be as easy to get the form right or even match up to previous drawings and their anatomy. It happens in case there is lack of experience, tho it usually fades over time.
BUT, i have to admit that frontal view or clear sideview is usually the easiest forms to draw for people. It tends to make it easier to get the anatomy right since there is such easy focus points and it should be easier to align things correctly. Tho i know there are angles an artist might just not be fond of, so maybe in this case we have someone that just really hates working on that angle and hence doesn't spend time fixing up their skills for that. I personally have those habits too, tho it's easy to work around them anyway if you use other angles. Especially in comics it's very easy to do so.
Anyway, it's something I have noticed a lot too over the years (especially in webtoons and comics). Either with the frontal view or a 'oblique' angle (either taken from the front or back, not sure if that is the official word but you can google what I mean with: anime angle oblique).
I agree with you on the things you talked about. The art style is really good! With the other male characters you see, they look pretty fine. Besides the frontal angle of the ML, all the angles you see of him are not bad. The intention of him being the ML is supposed to be exaggerated I think he to exaggerated in the frontal angle for me. I just feel weird looking at that part. IDK. But I will say, I do like the way the Female characters are drawn.

Can some help explain the whole dynamic with the two empress the two prince the king or duke? Somthing. Cause I'm really confused. So Empress Liza is the one in power than the other empress and prince louie is next heir. And married to the emperor in power(who I forget) and the blondie prince is rightful heir cause his father(late emperor) died. The empress is some surrogate? With the other blondie guy? Love the red eye guy or something. Someone help me pls!

Wrong. The Duke is the Previous Emperors son, it should be him who'd inherit the throne but since he was too young, The previous emperors brother, the current Emperor inhereted it. And now, the Current Emperor wants the Duke to inherent the throne instead of his and the Empress Liza's son, Prince Louis. The one with the Emperor earlier must be his concubine(?) [Correct me if I'm wrong] You know, like, he loves his concubine instead of the Empress since it's political marriage stuffs
There’s two empress empresses the one with the emporer earlier she is an empress but she hasn’t got any kids so she has like less power but she is close with the emporer and empress Liza has a kid so she is kinda powerful
