Being constantly compared to, I also developed a strong inferiority complex and lack of self esteem in my teenage years.
Although I grew out of it, I still will jokingly ask my friends, when I’m facing a challenge, “do you believe in me” knowing fully they’ll always answer “yes I believe in you” no matter what (even if they don’t think so lol). But I noticed just hearing it makes me success in what I was doing 99% of the time.

The difference in reaction between jigu and yeowoon about the flowers tells me so much about their character lmao neuta being as dense as he is just thought it was to get rid of extras while jigu immediately caught on the fact he probably likes him, and that’s why he’s better at otome game loll
It says a lot about their irl relationship. Jigu is reading a lot into Yeowoon's actions while Yeowoon was (less so now that he has figured out Jigu's feelings) oblivious to Jigu's actions. I think it fits them both quite well...
