the pacing has become weird. it feels like there’s supposed to be a whole chapter between each new release and we’re just being thrown randomly into the story
So it's not just me! Honestly this 2nd season has been so confusing, it's like they're throwing the events without explaining or developing them and it's so fast? I can't enjoy it like I did w S1
I personally haven't read the novel, but according to people who have, they are skipping a lot of the story like conversations, and the fight scene was supposed to be longer and so on. The pacing is too fast because they've decided to cut out a lot, apparently.
I fear the publishers may have forced the writer/artist to sqeeze the rest of the novel into season 2. It just SMELLS of that to me because a lot of manhwa follow this 2 season +side stories format.

this is exactly what i was thinking. so many good stories or novel adaptations get ruined because they need to rush the ending. i always just end up dropping the series instead of finishing because each chapter just feels disappointing after a while.
it’s especially frustrating when the pacing is good for 100+ chapters of character development and build up just for it to fall flat right at the finish line.
Yep. I don't mind when they cut out the tedious grindy stuff, but they actually cutout the whole 1st climax (the battle scene was legit the best part of the novel). You don't get to see how much Eyra sacrificed for the city, or how strong and clever he really is, what he sacrificed. How shit his health is all the time. S1 cut out all the kinky smut but S2 cut out all the story but adds smut. Why are we sacrificing one for the other

Hi, can I ask how you read the novel? I found one but the novel translation is way behind the manhwa

I blame it all on profit hungry publishers, if it's anything else I'll actually go sell my kidney. Next thing you know we'll be getting slide shows like in blue lock.

Ridi (or Booktoki). I only know basic Korean so unfortunately Google translate will be your reading buddy. (But, it was worth all the agony. There aren't a lot of KR BL manga that actually has an interesting plot)
i feel like my eyes must glaze over while i read this because i have literally no idea what’s going on… weren’t they on a ship or did i hallucinate that?
FRRR they were lit on a ship now they're in his office so randomly, like does he have an office on his ship and casually has sex toys on his ship like what-
I did. Since i had 3 clocks (+ my phone)in my own room, so I set it in the morning (05:45 and 06:50), in the afternoon (11:59), and in the evening (16:55) it's a reminder for classes and If i had to go to my part-time job
