Solid start, horrible ending. I want to believe that the evil publishers rushed the authors (fyi they have devil horns, snapping whips and they're yelling "you're not making us money, we're closing you down!!").
I refuse to believe that that fever dream that is the last 20~ish chapters is what they initially planned. They had to juggle at the last minute, and they had to give them an happy ending. Poor things, they couldn't help it: you gotta work with what's given to you. They probably can't even complain cause lawyers, but don't worry, I can read between the lines, I heard the cry.
I'm your ally.
Fuck you to hell Evil Corporate$!
Everytime I see Mil I feel the urge to scrub myself clean. I get his role in the story, I really do, but I guess I just can't like sleazy-commedic characters. If I have to draw a picture I think of him as one of those anime heart-eyed octopi, wrapping his creepy tentacles around Elise's head. Bleah I made myself gag...
What if Elise can never die, like at the end of her current life she's 60 or something and she's on her deathbed, she's thinking about how she finally had the shot at life she deserved, she closes her eyes, smiling.
Only to open them again, in our world, again the same baby she was after her very first reincarnation. She screams but none can understand her.
Spooooooky~

They dom't have money but still want to support their son, that's amazing.
Also it's so cute that they call him Little Swan.
