This was so cute, so healthy. The only thing I think wasn’t kinda resolved enough was the dad situation. I mean, he really broke his own son (and I also blame his mom for enabling that behavior, I know she’s not the worst but she should’ve protected her child), and a big part of the story was about it, however we barely seen anything resolved or explored deeper in that direction. I wish he just ditched law school and didn’t do anything his father told him to, he’s just a controlling and abusive freak. And when he graduates what then? Will he have to do masters and PhD too? I don’t see how he’s gonna be a lawyer with the amount of time he spends on music and now living in a countryside. So, what was even the point of going to that school? Both for MC and the dad. Idk, I wish that plot point was explored more as it seemed very important.
Otherwise, it’s such a cute read. I love the couple, (though 3 years sitiuationship is just vile ) it’s one of rare healthy and wholesome reads.
I really hope parents get back together, I don’t like this divorce. I’m glad none of them got hurt too badly, I genuinely couldn’t root for either of them during this fight. Also, Simon and the rest really have way too little faith in Pietro Like bro was the strongest for a reason
Okay, so much to say:
1. I’m feeling that Estella will soon join them as one of the teachers, I’m not sure if she will live with them (would be cool tho, but unlike them she’s the only one who isn’t a complete loner and has her people), but would be cool.
2. Is there going to be smth between her and Kaiden? This chapter he was very gentleman’y towards her. I’m curious.
3. I just love how much of an overprotective mother Kartein is He’s the only rational one, sick of his son being reckless and becoming more and more like his father. And the time he was scolding Pluton and was asking Kaiden for support like “Honey! Say something!!”. The character development… from going to not wanting to heal anyone to being Jiwoo’s not only regular healer but also protector who can’t stand a scratch on him. So adorable. I love how caring and overprotective he is. Also, I love how they are all officially his teachers.
4. IMPORTANT! Okay, we all can agree that Kartein and Kaiden are a married couple and parents of Jiwoo. Who is Pluton in this dynamic then? A reckless older brother or a fun, bad-influence uncle?

Like for me it just makes no point for them to waste all that time, money, resources and involve so many more people just to off him for becoming what they asked him to become. My thought is that maybe they see him becoming more human as a weakness and a chance to off him cause as a weapon it was harder? Maybe? Since he gets off guard and his senses become milder etc

This is what makes more sense. Royalty and nobility usually gave factions so if we have a faction who wants him dead and a faction who wants him to be back in the position he should have never left, that makes sense.
I mean if they are different fractions then yeah. I thought they meant that they wanted him before but when he changed (did as they instructed) they suddenly wanted him dead, which didn’t make sense to me (though royals even across the real history could be unreasonable and stupid so)

I got into big argument about it under a different webtoon (the other person mentioned it in our comments here). So, I think I won’t risk it with that one. Scenes like that make me feel awful. But I really appreciate your warning and giving me specific episode so I can check instead of getting a surprise at the end of the series like in a lot of stories. Thank you!

It is kind of on a border of dub-con, but the reason it works is because the receiving guy is also shown to be super horny and mentions also stuff like “He must be tired, after-all it takes a lot of energy to pound me until I’m satisfied”, as well as it’s shown that he is strong enough physically to also enforce his boundaries when needed. So, yeah. Idk what their relationship is, but I don’t think it would’ve changed much for me. He didn’t even seem to enjoy it, I just can’t with smth seemingly one-sided.

THIS is how you write smut. They are just so healthy, communicative, consensual and mutually into each other. It’s so much better when you can see that both parties want each other, they both desire one another and are both proactive. There is no one-sided pleasure or straight up SA, just both of them being equally horny. And that’s SO MUCH sexier. Sex should be an act of mutual pleasure, it shouldn’t be something where only one person enjoys themselves or someone is being used like an object. It should be fun, an equal exchange. 99% of Yaoi’s (or smut webtoon writers in general) should really take notes from this.
I have so much respect for this author. This story is beautiful and it’s incredibly rare to find characters that have such strong and natural chemistry. It’s simply beautiful, just beautiful. What a gem.
