So from what I gather up to last chapter. The mom got a kid, juheon, maybe out of wedlock, and then chose to marry another poor & abusive man which clearly not juheon's father. Then she got kicked out from her rich home by her father. Then proceed to blame juheon for every misfortune and miserable life she had. She didn't even believe that juheon was the one being bullied at school. She made all those wrong choices in life, and the kid is the problem for being born. Suuuure.
I know auntie only wants more inheritance by adopting juheon. She is as toxic as the mom I assume, but at least she got the money to provide juheon's living

I think, yihyoen tried his best to ask for help. But at the time, sekyung, didn't stretch his hand to help yihyoen who actually came to him with no shoes on rainy day in pajama. Yihyoen was shocked with sekyung reply so he ran. At that time, sekyung felt regret because he shouldn't have said that. It's kinda sad. Even on his last day on earth, yihyoen didn't get help from sekyung.
Then sekyung become so annoying, he kept wanting to know where the real yihyoen goes, and the cried when dukpal told him that yihyoen actually jumped that day.
Tbh, I don't understand why he didn't care and suddenly he try to care? Is is guilt?
Dukpal felt pity for crying sekyung just told him someday yihyoen will come back and he will go (meaning dukpal will be dead but sekyung didn't know that). Then sekyung was like, I kinda like new yihyoen, if old yihyoen come back, where the new yihyoen will go?

50 years age gap, and not just usual mental age gap, but war veteran who had lived in harshest timeline. Tbh, if I were MC, I won't remember friends from 50 years ago. Not even first love. Life goes on, in 50 years, many things had happened.

ML acts as a normal 19 year old - full of emotions and figuring them out. MC is very mature, and I was concerned for the age gap, but MC is more like a mature child than an actual adult. Even though he is 69 years old, he lived the 50 years in constant survival and agony to actually grow. He became emotionally mature, yes, but later in the novel/manhwa you can see that he is just a child the more he spends time with ML. Mentally, he stayed as a 19 year old.
As how he sees younger people - in the novel he describes that he was always out of touch with his peers (because he was getting ready to go to the future from when he was 18) even before he went to the future and is just patient with them.
Aside from villains. The family, the emperor, the corrupt people.
Tbh it's annoying. FL is overconfident with herself, she already got two days before the raffle, which mean, she should have deal the diamond mine certificate in allotted time, but no. She was like oopss I forgot to screw luther over, I should go back to the duchy ALONE, because I believe Luther is in imperial palace now.
Why didn't she used that 2 days to steal the diamond mine documents (or get Sir Grik to do it, he is skilled). Then after the raffle they all can just go together.

Husband also frustrating. He finished his job early, he said he will bring his wife back with him AFTER trial. But naaahh, I m going to be gone for a while, without telling her anything. You know, he can tell FL things like, the duke will pick you up in few days please wait. If he said that, maybe FL won't be so rush running to the forest and just headed to the castle. But ML is gone without giving reason or prior notice to FL that her husband will come to pick her up. For what exactly was he gone??? Didn't he put Allnighter for 2 days to complete 48 documents, before trial so he can meet with her?
Both of them wasting so much time by thinking, "ah yes I could do this first, oh that plan? Yeah we can delay it, after I do something I suddenly think just now". It works if they don't have problems tho. But that's not their case, does it. FL has to runaway faster, while all ML thinking is "I have to make a grand entrance to whisk my wife away". That's what you got by lying. I get that he lied the first time because he suspicious of her. But it was annoying he kept his lie all the time when he knew enough that she wasn't even part of the family and expect everything will go smoothly.

I bet if this story went accordingly to ur liking, u will find it boring because of how easy her plans went. Likeee, I'm glad the miscommunication isn't that bad. I've suffered enough miscommunication in novels that would last for so long that it's unnecessary. I'm surprised that we are at chapter 55, and the ml already knows that the mc isn't bad, fell for her(well, he's still in denial which is understandable cuz of his trauma), knows her suffering and didn't dilly dally and just went straight to her house to take her. I agree, granted he could've asked his men to send a message to the mc that his busy.. but that would mean the risk of revealing that he is Hertz. Why couldn't Hertz just go to the mc?? Isn't he just a proxy? And the mc is already aware that he is not present at all times. Like give the dude a break, his basically taking his time out to meet the mc despite his busy schedule. Did u forgot the chapter where he had under eye bags? Like my guy didn't sleep for days, and still went to her.
All in all, if what you've wished went accordingly to the story, we would have a plain ass story that gets quickly resolve. I'm actually glad that this story didn't go to what you wanted or else it would've been rlly boring, and the misunderstanding of the ml towards the fl was easily cleared. Now I'm just eagerly waiting for the reveal of the ml identity to the mc, tho for some reason, this story has enough misunderstanding that wouldn't make me lose my hair out of frustration. It's just enough. I'm just hoping for the mc and ml to heal from their trauma.
