I love the art style but for the two times i read (and reread) that manhwa, im still confused on what exactly was the plot? Whats the MAIN rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution??? Cause as far as i can tell, the story didnt seem to have a solid construction of storyline, it leaves me the impression of a lucid dream. Is there anyone who got the story unlike me?
Is it just me or roses ang champagnes is actually toxic? Im not quite sure cause im not that exposed to the fan community of that manhwa but whenever i come across ppl who reads it as well, they usually compliment it like it doesnt consist of a red flag top and a pushover bottom. Please do correct me if im wrong but i just cant help feeling disappointed especially in the latter chaps. The top would hurt himself just so the bottom would change his mind, and the top would seriously just do whatever he wants despite the bottom saying he has work to do or whatnot.

It's disgustingly toxic lol although I do admire the kinda realistic portrait of a mafia boss. romance tropes rlly loved to twist it into "he's horrible to all, but MC" and most stories abt mafia MLs are like that but in reality mafia bosses are emotionally/physically abusive to their partners, like the fact that mafia wives were known for wearing heavy makeup to hide bruises
So at least it's consistent in the toxiness(?)
