About the homophobia. You guys have to realize that korea (and a lot of other asian countries) isn't like other western countries. They have different views when it comes to homosexuality. It is not as widely accepted as it is in other countries. Some people may like it (hence the yaoi comics) but most people simply don't. I don't like homophobia nor do I condone it but we must realize the context she is in. Its not about double standards or not being supportive enough of her brother, it is simply the culture she was raised in. Now, I'm not saying that makes it all better. Its simply the reason why she acts like that.
It's just how you were raised, the way you grew up, and the environment you lived in that determines that thing really. It's all about how strongly your family feels about something that you 9 out of 10 times adapt their way of thinking and respond with the same feelings. You'd have to really live in a very open environment to not feel nit picky over the tiniest things like one's skin color, the color of their hair, the nationality, their religious belief, their gender, ect.
Some people get the privilege to live in a freer life style where they end up accepting anything and everything no matter what the box of life they see and even the contents of said box. I've been lucky enough to have been raised with an open mind due to how badly my mother was raised, she made it possible for me to see that comforting side of the box and keep my arms open towards my friends who like the same sex or choose to become transgendered. It's just the way you are brought up and the environment you live within that can shape your world, ideals, opinions, and most of all the way you see.
Looking at the world today, even the United States [in certain states and cities] rejects just about anything that isn't their standard of a proper standing white collared human being. Just look outside and see it.
If only people could just move past this stage, we're all human and honestly so what if there are a load of homo's? They deserve equal rights to love and carry on their life choices it doesn't ruin your life! (=・ω・=) Time to put on another safety pin!
I like yuri and jaerim a lot. but goddamn aeyeon (or whatever his name is) is so HOT!
goddamn! even with though he IS a bit sketchy.. chapter 76, I totally shipped jaerim and aeyeon.. hahah! only time will tell if he is actually gonna be a really shitty character in the next few chapters.. I hope not TOO much. hahah! the community needs a good love triangle/love rival every now and then, amiright? ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
wait. this is weird. Aren't alphas and omegas supposed to be together? cuz its like dom and sub. it can't be alpha/alpha cuz both of them wouldn't really want to submit to being knotted? and no one would actually get pregnant (in the case of man/man)? if you get what I mean.
cute story tho! <3
I have the same question.
It's usually Alpha x Alpha because Alpha families like to keep the "purity" (?) in the family. Think of it as nobles wanting to marry with other nobles even if there are cases of inbreeding.
I thought alphas can't get pregnant.
Granted I know little to nothing about omegaverses except from skimming through Abarenbou Homey and this: https://fanlore.org/wiki/Alpha/Beta/Omega
No, I'm pretty sure in Abarenbou Honey women can be alphas. In the explanation in the first chapter (so helpful by the way, thank you so much!) when they show the images of how everyone developed and above the female's picture they have an alpha, beta and omega sign so I'm guessing women can be all three they just don't look any different.
It also says 'everyone can get pregnant' so that probably includes alpha males?
But then they also say that different people draw the omegaverse differently so... I don't know..
I'll link the page here: http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/abarenbo_honey/nbt/6d5913acc7b0dbb2/ChChapter_1/6/
Because the dads were friends, and they were drunk. The second dad had a son not a daughter, if they decide they want their children to get married he can hardly engage him to his non-existent daughter now can he.
To be honest, I don't think anyone gives a fuck about what gender marries what gender anymore. They've evolved so it doesn't even matter as both genders can do pretty much the same things now.
I don't understand what you're trying to ask/argue with that question...?
That's just one scenario in that world, a world with two storylines that the mangaka wants to connect I might add. It's just convenient.
Ah it's alright I meant argue in the positive discussion sense, not the picking a fight sense, I just couldn't figure out how to word my sentence. My brains not working.
I don't really have enough experience in the omegaverse to know but it does just seem like a collective idea, though maybe some people add more stigma towards the omegas and some don't I guess? Or some have the concept in a world like ours and some have it in a world with a heavily regulated system?
wait... do this mean that the first couple's story is over (like this manga is a collection of diff stories) or is this just like a "Side story" (like the manga is going to go back to the first couple???)
nope, is not over yet, now Yuri has other issues to deal with. http://yaoichan.me/manga/48478-never-understand.html
