Also, this is the first time that I'm just cheering on for a dense FL who
1. Doesnt believe that she is worthy of romantic love, or love in general
2. Treats every touch as casual affection and also treats them similarly (even if its "cruel" coz she doesnt understand how her actions affect them)
3. Gives so much love to others and is self sacrificing
Because
1. Her self worth is written so well, consistently and persistently. As if the author reminds the readers that this girl cannot fully understand what it meant to be loved, treasured, and even possessively yearned
2. The romance isnt important right now anyway. There's more to the plot and these people just needs to support her and she cherishes them enough to find a reason to live
3. Her friendzoning tactics and "flirting" are funny af. She can flirt and tease coz she doesnt believe she'd be taken seriously, and honestly, these guys and gals know how treat her right.
Our red head finally talking to the CEO (i forgot or had no idea that our CEO is even hospitalized...and our redhead is a proxy? Coz "how to lead/protect our company"... just saying, how understaff are they or what, Mr. Kim already has connections deeply rooted in the company? Then that's a plus to villainry )
Taewon might be pitching pennies but at least he's showing more initiative of helping Yusung face to face (coz his past actions before the regression was him thinking it'll help Yusung but only made him a hostage or pawn for Mr. Kim)
That account still makes me frown in confusion ngl. But also, reading fantasy novels to help him LMAO. That's so real HAHAHA
My girl just keeps being obstinate doesnt she :) its like this rebelliousness of wanting to dominate and manipulate, where you can use another person's love to hold them by the neck. How many times has it been that she KNEW how much her pain can torture him. Her death which is honestly coz of her foolishness. Her carelessness. I get that theyre master and "slave", but that was to help his madness.
I dont even care that she wants answers. Compared to his docile wooing, she keeps vital secrets to put herself in danger as if it helps anyone but her own savior complex. Compared to his discreet ways of watching over her safety WITH HIS OWN SAFETY and using his resources, she slits her wrist as if to further prove a point that she gives zero fucks if it would hurt not just the emperor but EVERYONE who cares for her.
1. Focusing on this annoying female "superstar" who is supposedly kind but got harsh coz of the industry...doesnt make her any less annoying, demanding, and audacious! Why is he with her more often when he promised to be with his first talent?? (Im @87, full peak grinding of teeth)
2. People forcing him to do things when he has been clear about his goal. It also doesnt make sense that being a director of production which he had less experience of compared to being a manager is "better" than being a team leader when he has talents in tow and managerial positions has been his entry employment.
3. There wasnt much follow up to how long his paranormal eyes would last him, or any development to his last nightmare regarding the strings
And its coz if that qoute: there is beauty in imbalance.
AND the fact that it must be being a STAY that got me thinking:
1. Showing how your produce the album - stray kids has Album intros every comeback basically talking about the songs, concept, and snippets of recording
2. Showing your production process live - chan has been experimenting with Changbin HAHAHAHAHA silly songs, but got the creative juices flowing
3. Having a co-composer - Stray Kids have 3racha, three brains, three styles and they have professional composers to help them polish their blueprints
4. Musical storytelling - samples are actually REALLY REALLY important in storytelling. Stray Kids have a knack of using sirens when there is a call for attention like in their debut District 9 and they were going to escape. Morse code to make their breakout even more discreet ish, like "a call only they will understand" which is in the music in itself. And in this case, we have School Life which is a predebut song of SKZ. They had school bell integrated in it. Onomatopeias to depict the sounds you'd hear in school.
Oh wow, i basically boasted my faves. But it's one of the reasons why I liked Once Again, Idol. Theyre going for a self-producing route with Joohan, plus he's the leader! And a very headstrong perfectionist at that. Hahaha. Altho, i like how our MC still has his manager past helping him out rn (even when i find it a little iffy to have him corner his senior lol, i mean, i know performers ought to swallow their anxiety and perform live tho...coz that's how it works in the industry) and like, that crack? Oof, might end up like Felix tho... like difficult to move your waist down and might dance a little or stay at the side like what happened to Chronos' dancer.

So its an asshole and a pushover...with a reeeeeeally slow atmosphere to just chew on and really experience that frustrating and eyerolling situation thats happening :D
