I honestly skipped 8-10 coz reading one shots in the same space as the main one like hang nail you're better off removed. But I think this is just coz the main story is adorable and seeing the comments were griping over ch9 ahhaha, i just said fck it, i wont be reading those.
Plus i like this dynamic between them. Shin is an asshole (to his gf) but with Ichigo's character influencing him, theyre giving me some tropes i really like: the arrogant type who gets lead on, the innocent yet slut in bed. And it made me even like the "i can fix you" trope HAHAHA
Which is honestly a rare occassion of a reliable MC coz sometimes, or most of the time, the plot will just move forward to the sweetpotato scenes of backlashes, scandals, and overall just make it that the MC had no participation is trying to proactively resolve a situation. Coz, this situation couldve just moved on to the next morning. But no. Instead, Moondae is quick to resolve the situation coz we've consistently known his priorities to make sure he handles future consequences with his present choices (like with the composer almost taking all the blame for the "bad rendition").
Anyway, i hope the reliable MC streak never ends coz rn, im fully banking on Moondae to utilize his skills and assess present situations for future repurcussions.
And our duchess is running like a headless chicken whether to trust his employees telling her the duke cares or going by how the duke has been treating her indifferently. I just hope it doesnt backfire in the worst way possible coz the duchess will end up doing things on her own like these letters. But she's smart based on the last choices she made, so that's my expectations on the high.
