My fave is honestly Don't Call me Straight coz that echoes alot of my frustrations as a Bi. Like yes fck labels but also, if this label is going to be my ticket to even get a pass to say "yknow, i understand you but don't cross the line" when it comes to persecuting or judgemental lgbtqia+, then so be it. It's always "youre still normal, dont even try to be edgy and persecute yourself when youre not like us". And it grinds my gears when there's this maliscious test, (keyword: maliscious) of "would you fuck this other same sex person?" Just as I dont lust on every single guy, i dont drool over the same sex like theyre sex toys. When gays ask this question or when authors use this for "straight x gay" tropes, im like, then do you plan to fuck every same sex person u see or does the straight guy go after all ladies?? But even for confused straight people, im like... stop dismissing ur hetrelationships just coz u like the same sex and vice versa same goes for "gays" who suddenly find themselves attracted to the opposite sex after they had their same sex attractions. You're Bi! We're Bi! Labels describes your preferences, dont let it box you into categories of fixed identity, that's what Pride is. It's the fluidity of sex, gender, and sexuality.

Ps. If youre thinking "great, another argument that bigots can use to send gays to camp". Please dont. This is me saying that we shouldnt fixate on sexualities as much as we fight against bigots who thinks cishets are the standard and the "morally good". As in, bigots shouldnt fixate on inhumane persecution of those nonheteronormative coz sexuality is fluid, gender norms are fickle, and even our sex chromosomes arent black and white.

At first, I expected dramaticism that felt so loud and almost having orchestras playing in the background when characters clash or having an intense scheming scenes (I blame the common immersive panels of revenge psychological manhwas on here LMAO). There's also the fact that Maribelle just kissed the Emperor in front of her deceitful cousin...

But instead, I witnessed a psychological yet romantic silent film, or something I'd imagine watching at an old cinema in those old rolling films and subdued volume. Coz that's how the plot unravelled itself to me despite some comedic art panels, abusive and traumatic scenes, as well as psychological break downs. But that same silence made me weep at the latter end of the story. Like a tear that escaped without my intention and a dull sadness creeping in my heart before a fluttering feeling of relief. Anyway, I really liked this story

1. Where does he place his mom in his heart?
I was aware that it might not be family oriented, but when his mom collapsed, i expected a follow up. A proper talk in the table with the money he was bringing. But nada. After mom's collapse, she disappears from his priorities
2. What exactly is his goal in becoming a world famous designer/architect/engineer?
This is just a personal bias but there's not much picture to see even if i say "oh, his goal is to be the best!". It also feels like an empty revenge plot but we dont even see much of the subject of his revenge (plus he didnt die, he just regained a chance to exploit his experience in a time when he was younger and can build a stronger foundation) --- it could honestly build a picture of its own as something abstract and vague image of success but there's no symbol of it like; a) an award reserved for his profession, b) his imagination on how to successfully one up the bastard that will set him up, or c) maybe build a home for his family since theyve become a single mom household because of debt.

I wrote an essay but it basically boils down to a vague execution of a plot. There is no progress bar apparent in his movement and the translation doesnt help because some dialogues are so vague, what are they even about? His relationships are fickle and the background plot points are loose and entangled.

It's the arc that confused me alot, especislly how he handled the character...it is described vividly in the novel, but only when theyre acting out. His choice of powers doesnt have a clear cut story unlike the first ones. And it got a little foggy until the part when the movie's protagonist as well as the closest staffs are responsive to seojun. Anyway, im so excited!

Not much peak to the MC's success beyond debuting with the members he is more confident wouldnt fall out like his first. But darn, i feel like he is really inexperienced with these broadcasts. And its just gonna be all the more a thorny path from here on out

I remember the 2021 wave of bullying allegations that "coincidently" involved top idols in polls or like theyre on peak fame. Some idols got removed, my fave being on hiatus, and some were well defended by their companies. But here, theyre still trainees so i wonder how the author will weave it. or rather, how will moondae react

It's such a funny reason to just suddenly act like u actually hate idols coz...thats like saying that his idol is talentless HAHAHAHAHA

I feel like this is more reliant on the eater coz...you'll eat what you asked but you have to be able to identify the accuracy of what a 65% noodle taste like (and im like culture shocked but second digit precision. Im used to maybe a more common folk estimate of tens rather than the guts to even order for a 73% HAHAHAH) but srsly, its like a collective meal evaluation coz u gotta stab, swirl, and steal from your companion's plate to even affirm changes in taste and if it's cooked despite weird percentages --- but anyway, i dont know my pasta nor the technicalities behind my food. That is just an intriguing chef-customer mutual test of capability to discern taste.
