I love it coz of the art and the heartbreaking scenarios of death, memory, and desire. But i fcking hate it because of that useless fcking elf. Pardon my language but that THING is a pain in the ass who caused the whole plot to fall apart but is absent when IT actually matters the most.

And for the love of all good things, of ALL PEOPLE YOU WILL USE YOUR POWERS FOR! The only reason I held out is because it had enough chapters (32) to make me hope that it'll get better but because it ended in the most frustrating note, I'm so heated and angry at the FL.

Some FLs I like out there are those who do their best for the person they love (esp when they can't care for their own sake due to trauma) but in this, it's like, it only happens to alleviate the frustration u feel when everything is going smoothly for the villain. She's so fcking inconsistent. Why bother to hide ur powers when you stupidly used it on a STRANGER OF ALL PEOPLE and you even manage to suddenly talk better with them and having this weird ass closeness you cant even fcking do with your maid, what happened to fcking trust issues. I dont want to be outright and say STUPID MF, but with the way it's going, trauma or not, she's making some stupid decisions. Like AHHHH idec about her trauma anymore coz she managed to say a part of her life, but not what wouldve helped the king most. Like WTF I THOUGHT U LIKED NONHUMANS MORE, HE KEPT SAYING DRAGON RACE FOR FUCK'S SAKE.

(shouldve just waited until its complete coz this whole waiting game is making me hate CHARACTERS so fcking much.)

Yeah, my mind drifted while reading ch67. I had an OST playing in my head as our MC muse over the fact that he had gone through so much in his past for this moment. So i had to reread the chapter HAHAHA

The gramps was so stupid, I mentally did a face palm. But I'm cheering for the duke seeing as how he is looking for her, even at auctions. Besides, her step older brothers seem to care for her. I dont really like the new two kids coz there is no chemistry the moment the purple guy was adamant to marry her and the white haired dude insists on being a dog. Theyre cute, but the dynamics had me sighing and cringing hahaha

Im so happy the author decided to push through the volumes after their intended ending. My heart has melted to goo just reading how honest theyve become. Coz im so tired of internal monologues and tsundere's. Blunt and sincere honesty is BEST

i know rosalia is naive, but not to the point that i'd hate her. in a novel, the antagonist rarely ever have a "screentime" to be fully understood. in here, the author doesnt say that Rosalia knows who these two are (The King's dog) except a cliché reason like brutality and obsession. — im gonna blame the inconsistent POV writing of using a third person POV for a backstory that Rosalia might not have known.

Her mindset was stuck with a "good childhood" being a solution because the real Rosalia was abusive and she thought THAT was the reason. So of course, the daycare teacher wanna be that she is who grew up in an orphanage with a simple understanding of the novel, THINKS that the solution is simple.

REAL world morality being imposed in fiction looks like this. That's why she doesnt want her new kid and husband ending up as brutes who are cold-hearted and apathetic of murder and violence. It's somehow meta, that's why it's so weird to read "Rosalia should just let them be".

Rosalia's desire to help them be moral and away from dirtying their hands and risking their lives is like THE BASIC PLOT of this story. Sheesh. BESIDES, they discovered love and albeit twisted, had learned affection. and you want them to be "WHO THEY ARE"??

the idea was to turn away from predetermined fate and it felt that way with how Rae tries to change the fate of the "body". but they forget that it's the soul which the goddess uses that actually fulfills them. the bodies are shells to manifest those fates.

1.the first body died young
2. "beatrice" still had her happy ending in Rea's body
3. the true Rea still died.

the shells changed but fate still willed it to happen only in ways that strayed from the plot. it's the same as knowing someone's "future", but not necessarily the specifics. but because Rea did her best to stay alive, she unwittingly directed her efforts thru the male lead. Hence, the role she originally shouldve had still became hers, only in a different body and without the bonus of Beatrice's body making him "feel things". Also, the true Rea transferred body but she's still hung up with being "someone else" which is why she still went thru the path of putting herself in harm and... dying. Besides, she didn't even meet the male lead until he has fallen in love with Rea. (trying to kill her original body is so metaphorical too because her only obstacle is ultimately herself. if only she learned to appreciate the life she had and actually focused on fighting for herself then "maybe" she'd have a diff life. but then again, fate had pinned her to die tragically.)

question is... the original soul of Beatrice. Where? since that soul wasnt going to have the happy ending because the goddess went and took the protagonist's soul to transmigrate. then, did that soul really expire? if so, then... how many roles do the protagonist have left? and is her soul truly tied up with the duke? like, the duke wasnt all ideal when he said in another life, he'll be looking for her.

P.S. Isoa was right lol. kill the brunette (OG Rea in Beatrice's body) and live happily with the blonde (FL, who should be Beatrice, in OG Rea's body)

i thought i had a stroke of luck and i'd end up reading this until it gets completed. alas, i finished it while it's still on going because of how much ive become drawn into the story and esp Athanasia :) also, it's so refreshing to have a filial story that focused on a father and daughter relationship.

like, the paternal relationship with the guidance of maternal love is very touching. it triggers my father's complex but not too much that i begin hating the story haha

a lil confused during the pirate arc since she seemed to be sailing the ship with him... while also saying she schemed indoors. also, he was almost random hahaha.

They're sailing through the frozen river or something. They moved to the place where Cedric found them to change ship

i mean, her flashback or memory. during her past life when she used him.

i mean, wow. hahaha look at how lust and greed literally shattered a utopian island. at first, yeah its all smut and stuff but it progressed to a more coherent greed which sowed itself so deeply that the trunk rose to bite earth in its downfall

didnt expect to actually read a substantial story haha

something is really wrong with this vet office. cant believe they even stuck to it even with the ridiculous power abuse going on. it doesnt make the director edgy, just a shitty person who thinks theyre so cool and capable while looking down on other people's effort to be an actual Vet. tsk. but what the hell, it makes them a convenient obstacle coz now he has to choose between the opportunity and minato
