so many chapters and memory manipulation that I also quedtioned my memory of the events that transpired. Character wise. i like yamada :) he is stereotypically a magnet of both extremes, abhorence and affection. However, he does it logically because of his own merit not because he is the lead. I wont spoil but its just humorous how Miyamura started with disdain to openly attacking Yamada. at times he did seem more forward and affectionate but the author would twist it to make him more of a flirt and a perv and a man who dies from boredom, which is still true for him anyway.
They really threw in a loop with the memories and gaps. characters have been shed and more were added. characters that have been dropped altho they were pretty important for the previous arc―they shouldve had an update at least.
and BIG SPOILER
did he have the copy power so that he could learn about witches thru kissing shiraishi―coz body switch is the most straightforward proof of witchcraft. so that he would be tied to the seven witches and eventually always go back to shiraishi no matter what gap or loop he went thru. i have a lot of questions but im so happy with the ending.
also the twins thooo i wanted to see the twins again. i thought theyd at least be a part of the ending.
Story isn't cohesive nor naturally unfolding. Much details are scattered (esp with the potential side couple)
Overall, the story is wholesome and the family arc is adorable. The siblings have a very strong connection and the five of them are so ideal.
I was thrown off that it was actually an omegaverse (yes, i didnt read the description) but I'm glad it wasn't stereotypic nor unnaturally focused on the fact that it is an omegaverse. The story is actually more laid back than I thought, only because the connection between the past and the future isn't so tight nor intersected.
there are times i wanted to give up on the series, but somwhow the author shows a peak of possibilities that everything would not turn into worst. I like best that although Ian is indeed being "foolish", his intentions and perspective are vividly painted. That while he is dependent, he is also sure of what he wants. He has distrust and anxiety even if he can't leave Raymond. And Raymond, blinded by his revenge and his greed to hold unto everything, the author made sure to let him crumble slowly. Then, the rift occured and it was so refreshing for me as a reader as well.
There is clarity and transparent reality because they can't delude themselves of each other's presence anymore. I love this and although the ending felt clipped like a tape that ran out, I'm holding on the picture that their love would create.
P. S. Kaya and Nicholas having their oen family is such a side story that I would've enjoyed. Cause Kaya showed her displeasure and unlike her first characterization as an immature/childish woman, she had more backbone to confront Raymond's feelings than Raymond had for his own. Plus, Nicholas and Kaya were both honest and somehow the most realistic and are a match I enjoyed to observe in the background.
title gave me netflix, content gave me sweet nightmares. i did think it might curve to a distorted or twisted personality disorder, but it fortunately stuck to its paranormal theme.
but it also reminded of the movie mirrors where a woman's soul possessed mirrors and used it to hunt those who caused her miserable death.
im conflicted with the ending. maybe the explanation was too repetitive that it felt dragged out. or that the actual chill i experience existed in one panel alone. either way, it was a refreshing concept
the first chapter slightly triggered me into what I've always thought of as a turbulent suicidal. that "life" after death would be more promising. it's just weird how this portrayed it vividly and i was slightly zoning out from the story because I'm stuck thinking about living in the afterlife.
turns out it's just alike being spirited away as he was in coma
what happened next?
I got hooked with the sketch because of the raw reaction of little Mo, the domineering air of He, the unexpected coolness of Jian Yi's partner (sorry i forgot his name ) and Jian Yi actually remembering his lines. Plus, the script itself is so interesting! (reminds me of old Chinese movies I've watched that practically has more than one genre and alot of subplots)

the graphics shattered my fantasy. the novel has its superficial childishness but the graphic interpretation just dumbed it more. damn. i'll just go back reading the novel. after 12 chapters. i couldnt last.
alas, it even ruined qingqing. in the novel, she's more observant and has an actual personality. the comments here...this interpretation has let you down. the men has more reasons to love her besides her beauty. (she's superficial in a sense but at least she's not THAT bland as it is drawn here). also i like how "truthful" the novel is when she was abducted by Curtis. but here they make curtis "cute" and "adorable" while wooing her even if Qingqing is scared shitless towards him in the novel―im commenting up to there coz i couldnt read the rest.
the novel focus so much in the food the dump mc is given, i cant read it again with so much extra useless stuff
but at least the character have substance unlike this childish rendition. besides, food as a focus is understandable because its a survival story where they rely on hunting.
what are you talking about? they alway have plenty of food, the focus is not survival through lack of food, they had less for a while and they were fine, like food and eating is just a filler, what changes knowing what she had for breakfast? nothing at all
meh. if it doesnt suit your reading preference its fine. for me their food and their family dynamics is fun. their breakfast, their interactions, those details of knowing that they have food while also growing closer after each meal.
