The only things he did wrong was come on to him twice when under the effects of strong medicine and alcohol. He believed he was dreaming and tried to "blackmail" the duke into sleeping with him and forcefully kissed him. The duke has raped Jace repeatedly and yes Jace is an abuse victim. How did Jace start it? There first instance was when Jace was under heavy medication and he never forced the Duke to sleep with him. The Duke slept with him because he felt his pride was on the line. Then the Duke got Jace drunk and slept with him again. So on so forth. The only thing that could have started this on Jace's part is that when he was under heavy medication, he forcefully kissed the Duke and made a jab at his pride. Everything that happened there after was because of the Duke. He was too prideful and sleep with Jace, he raped Jace when he was drunk, he rapes Jace again, he helps alleviate Jace's aroused state, the Duke pursues a relationship with Jace, the two have sex often where it is easy to see the Duke is the one seeking Jace out, the Duke rapes Jace continuously and that is where we left off. Jace is an obvious abuse victim and saying that he chose to stay in the hands of his abuser is an insensitive thing to say after reading the latest chapters where when he says he'll leave, the Duke then rapes him.
