I like the story and how it's written. I feel like the storyline will really stick to it's potential. But I just can't vibe with the MC, the story is titled 'I Tamed a tyrant', but she didn't tame him though, she willing groomed him to be a tyrant. I just feel like she is essentially becoming the villain. And why does she run away? Does she change her mind about her plan or is it part of her plan (in an "absence makes the heart grow fonder" ploy) to make Dylan even more obsessed. I just don't understand her ultimate goal. Will this revenge make her happy, seeing him kill like all of Kiera's owners. Is she taking into consideration the collateral damage that could claim innocent people ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ I do want to see her family crumble though, under the weight of their own hatefulness.
I think the MC's goal is to destroy the kingdom since no one treated her right there and its probably not her initial goal to seduce the ml by the way she act when the ml flirts with her.
She 'tamed' the ml to use him for her revenge. The ploy that you're talking about is also for her revenge. That's her ultimate goal and was mentioned so many times. If her revenge is completed then of course, she wouldnt bother to stay. She most likely does not want anything to do with the imperial family after everything that has happened. She also didn't take revenge because she thought she would be happy, she took revenge bc of her hatred and anger. Also, she has never felt love or compassion from other people since young, how could she care for the innocent ppl? Plus, she was treated as a cursed sword and a demon by everyone (which is totally understandable on their part but also kind of justifies her hatred and lack of compassion for everyone). If one doesn't experience love, then one wouldn't know how to love. The only thing she was exposed to was hatred, anger, disgust, and bloodlust. Plus, the fcking trauma
Also I think her being the villain is basically the point. It would be cliche and dumb if she was still a saint after everything she's been through. (altho there is a chance that she has some goddess/saintess power thingy or smth)

I don't want him to become a tyrant. And I'm sort of hoping he was also reborn, and is trying to change the outcome of his own future too. One thing that makes me laugh about these reincarnation stories is when they supposedly pray to God to be saved from the hell they're in and then go on to seek revenge. Don't get me wrong, I stan a good revenge story but I like it better when they inadvertently get it (by doing things differently) and karma just kicks all the evil fuckfaces in the butt. ╮(￣▽￣)╭ Ahh well,

What we see in chapter 21 is his past life and what happened as a result of him following what her dumbfuck of a father said. The ML has also been reborn and he is trying to right the wrong's of his past life, to save both the FL and Elle. And let's been fair, compared to other ML's in reincarnation stories or even Remarried empress, who have actively set out to abuse and plot the death of their wives, the ML isn't that bad. I get hating the past him but to hate the reborn him that hasn't done anything he did in his past life and is instead actively trying to change everything for the better, just doesn't make sense.

Your entire argument hinges on separating "past" and "current" him when the are the same person. He still had all his memories, he still did all that, it's WHY he feels bad and is acting differently... what's more, SHE still has all her memories, which means there's not even really an argument for saying that "because he rewound time he didn't do it" because it's all still affecting her even now...

I'm reading "You Own My All" (The Wife First) which has a similar concept, but the MC is reborn while his husband isn't. I've forgiven MC because his husband never had to suffer bc of him.
But I hate this ML b/c BOTH of them are reborn. So, it's impossible for me to ignore the actions of their past lives. My hate for current ML is like hate for someone who has seriously wronged MC in the past and is trying to make up for it now.
If MC finds out ML is reborn, should she just forgive him bc she hasn't died this time? No, she remembers all the pain and it influences all her actions. He needs to EARN her forgiveness.
But, I'm satisfied with the actions of the reborn ML so far. Elle tortured him a bit which helps. Would be great if he went beyond just doing the basics and actually made her happy.

A leg is a physical thing that could be undone even if you retained your memories, so i can see your argument there, but i feel like you're arguing the analogy instead of the point. What happened to her was traumatic, that's why time reversing does fuck all if she retains her memories.
There's also tge nuance of his intentions to discuss as well, because be went to just... erase his deeds without taking responsibility. He wasn't going to tell her, luckily she remembers so he doesn't get the freebie.
Also, there is no separate him, it's the same guy with the same past amd memories. We are judging HIM, not "past him", which is the distinction your entire opinion hinges on.
