ugh that was terrible. your tragic past doesn't excuse being a dick to people. the ML was totally selfish and manipulative. He basically pushed her to the point where she couldn't say no and forced himself into her life when HE was the one to push her out. SMH
I'm not quite sure what the curse is but I really liked this one. The leads were good and reasonable. Their relationship was super cute and the ML...wasn't a dick that's amazing!
In the real version of the little mermaid not the Disney, the chick dies at the end and turns into sea foam because her love left her for someone else, so if she were to fall in love and have her heart broken she turn into foam, she could break it by tearing the heart of her lover out or something, I don’t really know how she was freed of the curse but
Yeah, I get that it was based on the original tale of the little mermaid.. I just was wondering how the curse was lifted too...I guess she was already freed from the curse because the ML stayed with her
Yea I guess the mermaid descendants couldn’t get a break in terms of rejected romances so the curse never lifted and finally one of them found a decent person who wants to stay

the ML consistently pushes her away and gets mad when she's being comforted by other guys who care and are honest with her...like dude make it make sense.
FL isn't all good either because she kind of strings guys along and knows they have feelings for her but active chooses not to do anything. both are terrible. i guess that fast ending means they truly do deserve each other...
