Same but I feel like it is going to be the same plot with any other mangas out there who have the same family issues. Like, the young son can't be compared to the oldest and he felt pressure so he ran away. Parents always comparing children... I feel like every single manga with family issues are the same... being neglected, hated, useless, etc.
Although true, but why would he call out to his mom when he slept over at Jin's place. Most of those family issue stuff, the effected character never really calls out to family. Usami from Romantica is one such example of not calling for family.
Well I think on some level it's hard to find as compelling a situation as one that is instantly gripping right? With as short a time as magnas do to develop conflict, you sort of need to go for the big conflicts - especially if it's not the main focus.
Though I would agree it can get a little predictable c: Still, I like the writing in this one! The conversations for the most part feel really organic.
