Why do doujins always have more interesting plot than 70% of actual BL manga.

Because you don't need to create new characters that you need to flesh out in a story and most doujins only have a single chapter. Which makes it a lot easier to make a good plot with a tiny bit of inspiration

But just found the novel version on amazon so I guess I’ll be trying that next, since I do feel there was a lot more there could have been done with the story, and if it’s really 5 or 6 novels I doubt they could fit everything in just 25 chapters....
