If I could rate this six stars I would. From the art, the slow burn, the angst, the plot, the well developed characters… it was just so incredibly well written. The prose was beautiful and the romantic moments were so poetic. Although I just finished, I wish I could wipe my memory and read it again for the first time. I don’t know how I can read another historical Manhwa without thinking about this.
Despite the extremely sad and dark topics, I surprisingly liked this. Had a few problems with the story (including the open ending), but it was good overall. Wish I could see more of Haru and Sumo and Haru and the Demon Lord
