My two cents:
What Chowon did was wrong, unforgivable even.
But what Chowon needs is a pillar of support, and determination to be a better person. It's ideal that he has someone to guide him, but that's not necessary as it's not an ideal world(i mean, its technically up to the author , but irl, no prince charming is gonna help you with your mental health)
It's upsetting that the beta left him, but his actions are his responsibility.
What he needs, and I hope is that he will gain a new purpose in life and have the determination to move on from his past. Know that not having Dojun doesn't mean that he is any worse off, know that a relationship shouldn't define his ego, or core pillar of his personality and self- worth. If the beta leaves, but he values the relationship, then he should show his sincerity, whether that's recipocrated or not should be taken as a life lesson.
Spoiler:
The gong gets worse and worse... if you read the raws, all the readers are bashing the gong....
I have a feeling that the author wants to redeem the shitty gong in the second season.

You have to pay after a few chapters.
For the unofficial source, you gotta find them yourself since the sites that hosts them gets taken down quick.
... I kinda feel a bit bad for the idol boyfriend that MC didn't want to dump even though he fell out of love because he didn't want to forget a peaceful time in his life. The idol boyfriend is just being strung along, from what I can tell and still cares for MC somewhat. Imagine finding out your partner just went away and you only found out from mutual friends? Although, I guess it's his fault as well for not noticing sooner etc etc
True, although, that to me feels like the MC is giving him false hope. The MC knows that he fell out of love, and the idol boyfriend knew too, which is why he confronted the MC to not give up on their relationship.
The idol boyfriend knew the issue, brought it up and gave his thoughts- that he doesn't want to break up.
The MC just tried his best to ignore the issue and strung him along without giving any explanation or expressing his thoughts on the issue.
I mean, the MC is a coward to express his own feelings.
You can say he's stuck between a rock and a hard place, but he's gotta confront his own feelings and express them.
I hope that he'll turn out that way in the future. And hopefully, he will break it off before pursuing our cute hunk.
.... I feel like the reason why we feel his friends are sus is because all really nice people in cartoons(especially american ones) have reallly really nice characters turning out to be back stabbing bitches.
Like the prince from Frozen, Vlad from Danny Phantom, or the lady from Incredibles 2, or the villain from Big Hero 6, or the trader from How to train a dragon *netflix episode*, or the Pink Bear from Toy Stories, or the Sheep from Zootopia..... basically, we are groomed to find nice people sus. Thanks Disney/Pixar/netflix/ major American shows!!!
Edit: Oh, theres also other works that have the same evil all along trope but I just felt that shows that are well known internationally and probs most people on here have watched would get what I mean

It's nice seeing them test each other out and slowly ease into a relationship, you can tell they are slowly falling in love with each other.
