Really good story, wholesome and the ending was bitter sweet. Though it was a bit rushed at the end. The explanation for everything was unexpected, but really wholesome.

Huh, I just naturally rationalized the age gap as a late offspring. My mom and her aunt are around the same age so... I mean if the ex king was born when the grandpa king was 20, and the grandpa king has a kid at 50... (when the ex king was 30...) then it wouldn't be weird if 20 years later when the ex king is around 50 that both the current king and the Duke is around 20. So..... it's a common thing to overlook, if we weren't told the age of the concubine of the grandpa king.....

But the way our MC says his feelings are more of a , " Yea, I like you" in a very nonchalant way, it just rubs me the wrong wayI guess, like his feelings are more of a"hmmm yeah " since it works out, it's okay kinda surface level "like" instead of a passionate "like" . Like it feels like he wouldn't cared if Irene did or didn't like him, and if she did, it's a plus kinda "like"..ah, I'm rambling

i see it like that too, but it doesn't mean it's necessarily a bad thing. i mean feelings don't just appear like that. and jooheon's always taking care of her, be it out of love or necessity. he's taking care of her and protecting her.
That's true, I guess it's because all the guys(about 4-5 people) I know in IRL who starts relationships like that (they tend to switch often) never really cherish them, and their reasoning for breaking up are always " I never really liked her in the first place, she was the one who liked ME"
And I have friends who fall for people like that, and it's no ones fault really.
I always just feel that it's pretty irresponsible if one party clearly knows that they both value the relationship differently, but never bothered to clarify. :/
Also these kind of guys that I know only cherish their girlfriends if THEY were the ones who wants the relationship in the first place. Sigh, I do like the lady part of the story, but I still prefer Mook Hyang in his original form. He's stronger, looks more OP, looks like he has more confidence and uses so many different techniques. The Mook Hyang now just seems like a typical "looks weak but kinda strong" female MC that is never really looked up to and will always be someone out there that's stronger and will judge her.At least when he was a man, people would be wary because of his looks, but now people look down on him based on his looks. Rubs me the wrong way. Hmm, I'm not saying I dislike him in his girl form, he learns a lot, and has LOTS of character growth. But I just prefer the other genre.
