They don’t let others influence their understanding of each other and from this I feel their love for each other. There were moments where Hye-sung frustrated me but Dojin’s patience and understanding reminded me what love is. After all love is something new to Hye-sung.

Panel 11 - No 1007 gets easily influenced by spirits. No 88 goes against the rules and help No 1007 by removing the spirit and eradicate it. That’s what I get from the story.
Exactly. And it required the sacrifice of an innocent, pure child to get rid of No 1077's darkness, so now No 88 is a murderer, too. But 1077 went "crazy" while No 88 did it in his right mind out of love. It's actually a sorta Shinigami Shounen Ai.
