uke(kana) had a congenital heart illness, takes pills daily to not suffer attacks. has an overprotective cousin. who is half brother to his lover. (rin)seme, who takes him out of his caged up life. makes him fall in love with him, getting him to fall ill more than once, to have sex. they run off to Rin's beach house. he falls sick there again. rin disappears from his life. to re-appear later, both working in the same hospital.

OH MY LORD, THIS WAS SO AMAZING!!! loved the art, the plot, the characters, the chemistry. Damn, why is a group who murders what I find so fun?? This group, shiki as they are called, take on missions. Most often to assassinate. Nanao, our main blonde guy, is a murderer. He doesn’t care about anything or anyone, joined the group years ago, as somewhere to die. All his partners end up dead. Then we get the new recruit, Aoi, our black haired baby. He is his new partner, who is, as I like to call him “Wet behind the ears”. Boy has never taken a life, or been involved with anyone sexually, but carries a cloud overhead. His dad was murdered by the leader of shiki, and wanted to dismantle the group and get revenge. For several years Nanao and Aoi work together as pair, Nanao always taking the killings so Aoi wouldn’t have to. Finally, on one mission, Aoi ends up killing a guy for the first time. Ends up all shaken up and takes up Nanao’s offer to comfort him. Nanao continues to take actions that protect him, leaving the two to flee away together
