Kizudarake no Airabuyuu
A bunch of different stories. The plots aren’t super crazy or original but they seem to like having the seme be the one you think is the uke. This was ok for me but nothing I’d ever read twice.
Otokonoko No Koto Wa Nani Mo Shiranai
4 couples. 1) Two boys are in love with their best friends and try to console themselves by having sex with each other, but their best friends find out and refuse to let them be together. One confesses to his best friend and they end up together. 2)Boy watches a classmate, knowing he’s hooking up with girls at school in a particular classroom. Then one day the classmate and boy meet up there and start fooling around. 3) Boy follows an infamous twitter account that gives some people an order and if you don’t follow it you’ll be cursed. Well, the boy gets the order to have sex with a man and tries refusing to but it seems like he really is cursed. His best friend tells the boy to have sex with him. 4)A return to the first story. The boy that didn’t confess his love is having sex with the best friend but the best friend is miserable because he thinks the boy loves someone else. These stories were pretty moody. I liked the 3rd the most but I would’ve liked the 4th more if it had a resolution.
Mousouka, Koi o Suru.
3 stories. 1)A boy runs into a another boy on the train a couple times and see him reading BL manga. They discover that they go to school together, the otaku boy admits he’s gay but they become friends anyway. 2)A nurse is plagued by guilt because he gets turned on when treating wounds. It’s not until he fools around with a boy on the soccer team that he realizes he’s actually a masochist. 3) Then there’s a SUPER sad story about a boy confessing to a friend and being rejected. No resolution, really. I liked the first story the best, last one is a pass for me. Too depressing!
12 Zodiac Boys
This is a bunch of cute stories about characters who are classic zodiac sign personality types. Nice art style. Cute stories
Mata Ashita
3 couples. 1) A businessman is saved from falling boxes by the mover helping him. Because he feels bad and wants to make it up, the salaryman tries cooking for him. They're very sweet together. 2) Salaryman is afraid of serious relationships because he thinks that the love between a couple will always fade away, but his coworker confesses to him and determinedly pursues him. 3) Salaryman loves his boss secretly, but one day a young, outgoing coworker tells him that he's noticed his unrequited love for a while and fell in love with him. He tries avoiding the young coworker, but when he gets drunk the walls between them come down.
Nekasenaide
This was really good. This manga is about 3 couples, all connected with a bakery. The first couple is about a couple high school boys. One gets a part time job there to buy something for his secret crush, meanwhile his best friend is getting lonely. The second couple is about a couple of salarymen. One is a childhood friend of the bakery's owner, Watari, and the two salaryment go to it all the time for lunch. Watari notices that the one salaryman is in love with his old friend, and they become close because Watari gives him advice. The childhood friend salaryman notices and becomes jealous. The third couple is about Watari and his lover, who returns after 6 years apart. He'd left thinking he'd become a better man, to be able to compete in a way with Watari. He starts to work a the bakery but as he wishes to stay with Watari more and more he becomes distracted at work, making mistakes. When Watari sends him home, after a near-dangerous accident the lover wonders if he should leave and they FINALLY have a heart to heart and get things off their chests. All the couples were really good in this manga.
Only Mine
Bunch of odd one shots. I was trying to figure out what they have in common... I think they all have a character that acts sneakily in them and hiding motivations. I didn't get too involved in any of the stories, though, for some reason I just didn't connect.
Kawaii Beast
So, I liked most of this. It’s all cute one shots. 1) High school boy befriends “scary” student in class, who is actually awkward, purehearted, and clumsy. Love this couple, adorable! 2) High school boy is nicknamed Prince Half-ass because he goes with the flow and goes out with anyone but doesn’t make any effort to stay with anyone, until he gets asked out by a cute boy. When the boy breaks up with him he decides to get him back. 3) Boy is in love with an uncle he used to be close with when he was younger, until the uncle got married anyway. Time passes, the wife died, and they begin to be close again. 4)College boy helps a drunk guy in the park, who turns out to be a guy in his major at his school. The drunk guy follows him around trying to get closer and date him. 5)Playboy teacher pursues student who tries to distance himself. I liked chapter 5 the least. The plot felt super disjointed and the teacher not at all likable. Would’ve probably rated this manga higher if it wasn’t for this chapter.
Sono Te o Toreba
This was 4 stories. 1)High school, standoffish boy is pursued by an older salaryman. At first the salaryman comes off stalkery but then you find out that the boy liked him for a while, staring at the older man, way before he made a move. 2) Young salaryman confesses to his MUCH older, like 20 years, boss. I didn't dislike this story as much as I thought I would. 3)College couple are having sex when the seme says he's tired and the uke takes it the wrong way and is so mad he accidentally breaks seme's glasses. 4)Weird incest story. Yuck. College guy starts living with his older brother who pretends to sleepwalk in order to snuggle up to him and later on do pervy things. All around this manga was pretty bland, I only stuck through it from sheer stubbornness.
Kemono ni Namida
