storyline: shinobu is a pushover who finds a small child in the street in the middle of the night. turns out, said child is actually a vampire, shion, who shape shifted into a child to lower shinobu’s guard and get into his house to drink his blood. thing is, he ends up staying for way longer than just a night. reaction: honestly i actually really liked this, i thought it was gonna be weird bc shion starts off as a child but it was okay cause it was actually just a ploy skdjdks (also it was cool that he turned back into a kid in the end to help shinobu with his cuteness)

storyline: a student whose gender is a mystery, even to themselves, who voluntarily finds themselves every day after school in a world where each person must show their true self and face their biggest fear in a battle to the (virtual) death. a story in self-discovery and overcoming your self-imposed limitations. reaction: this was absolutely insane holy shit… the imagery, the plot twists, the storyline itself… “inception” level of insanity, i loved it

review: fucking slaaaayyyy

storyline: a high school boy summons a demon to eat its guts. the demon realizes he's an absolute freak and decides to offer itself for fucking in the most gory, criminal and messy way possible, which turns out to be an incredible experience for the boy. this leads to an existential crisis and a deep fear of himself and the things he's just realized he's into, fearing he'd seek to kill humans to replicate the feelings he just experienced. he decides he's done eating the demon, which leads to the demon reaping his soul as payment for the summon. the boy lives on as a demon, experiencing many other things mere mortals should never come near, until he becomes strong enough to kill the demon who took him to the other side. review: this was absolutely insane but the art was incredible

storyline: time powers!!!! review: very engaging, loved the dynamics between the characters and the powers themselves (although i got a bit confused by the end)

storyline: jeon yiseon is a restorer with a secret and a whole lot of trauma. sa hyeon leads the country’s top guild and wants the restorer on his team. however, what seems like a simple recruitment turns out to be a transaction: one secret for another. a deal is a deal, but what about their hearts? who wins that game? review: this is the most plot-heavy BL i’ve ever read and i LOVED it. who woulda thought i’d be a dungeons dynamics fan, huh? also the characters?? i love them all, the storyline is amazing, the plot twists, the relationships, the way trauma is handled in this story… i’m in absolute awe, this is the coolest thing i’ve read in a very long time

storyline: han nokyoung is a young actor who is way too full of himself because of his good looks, and lives his life not caring for others or respecting anyone. he suffers an acid attack from a hater and becomes disfigured, leading him to kill himself. however, a miracle happens that allows him to go back to the last, giving him a shot at a life he can be proud of and live to its fullest. in this life, he builds a relationship with kang junil, the ceo of an entertainment company who makes nokyoung work for his heart. review: this was very cool, long ass story and many side plots but i really enjoyed it… also the art is amazing (i saved so many images for pinterest omg)

storyline: erina is a high school girl who accidentally finds out her loner classmate, nekoyama, can transform into a cat when he’s kissed on the lips. somehow, nekoyama decides to move in with her and live as her cat, resulting in a slow(ish) burn romance review: pretty cute, nekoyama and erina’s relationship develops very naturally and i think that it was just lovely (if we ignore the logistics part of having your shapeshifter boyfriend live with you as your house cat)

storyline: ah-ee (ai), a poor high school student who has to work part-time to take care of herself and her younger sister, meets a magician. though she’s wary of him, he seems to keep putting himself in harm’s way to help her. all he seems to ask in return is for her to believe in magic. review: cool art and a great message of not forcing yourself to conform to societal pressures and expectations. still, this was a trip through depressionville and i’m not entirely sure it ever led us back outside
