Things I like about this story: very powerful message about defense mechanisms- MC acted in a manner that stood in line with other's ignorant (re: homophobic) expectations of himself (in other words,he acted very femme and flamboyant because that was ALL they would ever see since they simply stereotyped him as a gay man who COULD "ONLY" be that way).. Real queer representation! Cute story!

Like I want to like this more than I do but I just can't..the story is dry and it flips.flops from wanting to make the MC (an omega bottom) seem strong and assertive and.thrn submissive (AND DUMB) the next. Tells ML not to "underestimate him" then pulls some googly moogley ass shit.like..i like MC and ML but I just did not feel the chemistry!
