dumb baseball boy meets dumb garden boy and they like each other but garden boy is scared of heartbreak again.... but baseball boy convinces him to try. reread april 2025: it was badly paced and the sex scenes happened so freaking quickly, a bit jarringly. like the second story in particular was so snappy to get into sex that i was literally drawn back from it like??? okay????? i guess?????? i won't probably reread it bc it's not... there was stuff that wasn't explained properly and etc etc. meh plot, meh characters, meh romance, but nice art!

no problematic stuff really but it truly went 1 to 100 in one chapter like... sex in chapter one is just wild!! but it's not surprising pfff. the art was okay, not the best i've seen, and the plot was pretty... bland... i liked older brothers story more for sure

dropping this at chapter 21 bc uh haruomi, my favorite, suddenly looks liKE A CHILD???????? WHY THE FUCK????? and there was a guy that threatened to rape him then kazuma found out and was CREEPY AS FUCK ABOUT IT so im so over it. i tried. i cant read this shit when haruomi is looking like a child and kazuma is being creepy as hell and the BIG ISSUE of iwadate literally almost assaulting haruomi is not really being addressed or dealt with. might get better later but OOF CHAPTER 19 IS REALLY OOOOOF. chapter 21 also has kouta being possessive as hell so im over it. there are so many red flags in this story and there's problematic shit and its become SO POSSESSIVE and its freaky as hell so no, thank you.

the fact that the translators didn't like the story is SO FUNNY TO ME???? also okay review here: not a great plot but it really had potential! if there was more exploration into michiru's psyche that'd help flesh out the plot more instead of just having the dumb characters have sex like 4 times in the span of 6 chapters. the pacing was really bad and the romance was sorely underdeveloped :( also would have commended the main boy if he didn't capitalize on the fucking date rape drug that was used as solely a plot point ahahaha but that's expecting too much. like... just don't read this again it's not worth it since the only thing that really saves it from a one star is the art style bc it is!!! really really pretty!!! but no substance!!!!!

reread august 2025: a collection of short stories that were fun and kind of sweet, with the exception of the last one where there's a young adult sleeping with a fuckin high school student like noooooo. ignoring the last story, the first one is the best one because it's slow and the feels are reciprocated and its just a nice time. idk what else to say bc the second one was really just cliche moe cute femme boy and a taller gruff roommate but like... i do like roommates.... twas set in a dormitory... kinda wish there'd been actual school times but alas, it was not meant to be. probably not a top choice for rereading but if i do reread, just skip the last story bc it's student/adult and hE HAS FEELINGS FOR THE STUDENT WHEN HE IS UNDERAGED NO THANKS
