Kunkou Schale
The manga was a short and fast read with an easily understable story. Because of the length of the story there really wasn't any character development other than realizing the possibility of love. The plot was simple and you don't need to think hard about the meaning behind it. Speaking on the terms of yaoi, this comic is a standard format with little conflict. 3/5 in my book. There was nothing particularly memorable nor anything that I was extremely infatuated with. It wasn't horrible either so it was a good middle ground. I don't think I'll give it second read anytime soon though.
The Man in the Mirror
It has been awhile since I've found a manga that I was willing to go back and read a second and even a third time. "Man in the mirror" however was entirely successful with that. The story pacing was great and the plot was memorable, with beautiful art and well developed seemingly 3D characters, a wonderful story of love, values, and worries was portrayed in 5 chapters. Outstanding execution with the limit of pages to a single volume story, and at the end I found myself pleasantly satisfied. 5/5 in my book. Considering the limitations and how well the author took advantage of those limitations has won this manga the first 5 star ranking on the list.
