Loool, there aren't even chapters and people are mean so weird and unnecessarily outraged. Nowhere in the description does it say they begin a romantic relationship when the MC is a child. All it says is they begin a friendship are children and support each other during a very difficult and trying time. Rather than lowering the hell out of manga, why not wait?

Finished review: This was soooo cute! Our MC is spicy and then warms up and our ML is a devoted dude initially with unrequited love issues. It was a really good and classic manga read. Love that it wasn't too long, but wonderfully it didn't feel rushed. It had action, drama, action and unique smexy scenes haha The total package really! Looks interesting and unique. Not sure why it's scored so low...people are so random on here sometimes

Our FL has been abused, beaten, discriminated against, enslaved, belittled every single day and people wonder why she has such a low opinion of herself?! It takes TIME to build yourself up and I think her character progression is incredibly realistic. She isn't weak, she's immensely strong and resilient even going through a sh!t of trauma. And she isn't mourning her old fiance. She's been beaten and told by everyone (and him when he was alive) how grateful she should be for being chosen for him. And then was assaulted by him. Do you know how messed up and huge that is to process??! And our ML is dealing with the guilt that quite a lot of service personnel deal with. Again it feels sadly very realistic. But what I'm really grateful for and excited to see progressing is the examination of soldiers following their orders even if they don't want to. And leaders that remain unfazed by these sacrifices, because they order someone else to do the 'dirty work'. That's hard-core. The low rating to me doesn't make sense. I think folks are being hasty and mean to be honest...

I love this kind of story (the FL isn't weak, she's just been incredibly abused, manipulated, misled and belitttled her ENTIRE life Have patience, her character is progressing! ) and the art is gorgeous & incredibly detailed. So...I kept reading, even though sometimes the translations were intelligible Thank goodness for the 'better quality' uploads from @AkumaKira! Honestly without you I'd have dropped this, cos the previous uploads were painful to read (forgive me previous upload, grateful for the uploads...Just wish I could understand them ). All hail AkumaKira!

So, I initially dropped this because it felt like it was starting from chapter 3. But I restarted it because the art is really cute and the ML is incredibly handsome haha. His melanin has been turned down, but there is some there so I'm counting it as a minor win (). The translation seems good to me, but I started re-reading it from chapter 13. I think our FL is adorable and has been through a tonne. I don't think the blame she feels is at all her fault. Instead the blame should be towards her butt head of a father and the evil incarnate that is her step-mum. She did her best in a house where everything was trying to kill her. Honey, please hate your father more. I beg of you
