Not tryna excuse the action of parents in anyway but the way the treat us is how they were treated. They don't know any better or they don't see anything wrong with their parenting. I would say its uncommon. Most parents aren't "good parents" because they have flaws and have made mistakes when raising their children/child. But their are parents who have raised there children well and never mistreated them in anyway, just these types or parents are uncommon or "rare"   reply
