Well, that explains it. People do hit milestones in their lives and I'm glad that writing is a mode of release for her, because I know it is for me as well.
Losing a parent ,no matter your age is one of life's major milestones. You lose a part of yourself. It's amazing she was able to write at all.

I was curious if it really was her father's death that was affecting her so much (not saying it's impossible, but there were people claiming she was physically ill and that was clearly not the case). It's good to have an explanation from the author herself. I do hope her methods work and she eventually becomes inspired to write as did before.
Edit: Actually I double checked and the grammar seems to be pretty good, it's just that there are characteristics in the English language I might not be aware of, anyway.
Mkay, so I've been lazy about the last page of her note, but since people are actually interested in it and I think it's the kind of message some people might find helpful or just interesting, I'll translate it the best I can within like half an hour :).

I wanted to move the story further in this volume, but I haven't managed to develop everything before the last pages, it frustrates me a little.
To tell you a little about myself, I suddenly lost one of my greatest supports, my father, at the end of last year. It's at this particularly psychologically difficult period that I had to give important pages, and unfortunately I couldn't meet my editor's and the reader's expectations who were waiting for the story to unfold... My father has always encouraged me from the province, so when he left even before I could make him happy, I felt like an empty shell. I'm sorry this showed in my work... I really won't be able to look at my readers and father in the face anymore... You know what they say, in those times, it's better to think about nothing and try to relax with passions or other things that get us out of our heads. It turns out that I recently participated in a signing session at which someone came to me, and explained to me that he(/she?) was reading my work to change his ideas when he couldn't bear anymore taking care of his sick family. At the time, I thought it was really touching, but now I realize how right he was. I also wish you to find comfort in mangas or anything else the day you'll experience difficult times. Moreover, I recommend you this one!
I'm going to try to not lose sight of my primary objectives anymore, so that you can enjoy this manga to it's fullest. I'm looking forward to see you again really fast, in the volume 8!
