Sylvia Atlante, a girl who was known as the "ugly duckling" of the family, died from poisoning herself due to never being loved.
I feel like this manga is a bit impractical? (though then again, what's real about magic? lol) I mean, everything felt handed to her as she worked to improve herself. Though it might've served as a message about true potential being hidden or something?
There are many misunderstandings in this manhwa, which may be annoying to some, but I find it to not be bothersome. Nocton holds much attachment to Roa, but Roa is unable to see it as she fears for her life. Also, as the story progresses, we realize the original story was more twisted than it seems on the surface
A girl who was executed for unjust reasons gets a second chance at life and decides to serve the one who killed her!
I think it's interesting how she holds a grudge against the ml, but it's surely bound to melt away slowly as she sees his human side
The adorable art is also a plus ^^
*minor spoiler*
I cried at the scene where she had to fake a smile, but couldn't stop crying, poor bb o(TヘTo)
A girl who dies because of a cheating scumbag, she goes back in time and awakens to the day her noble lifestyle fell apart. She decides to set up a marriage with a marquis in order to avoid poverty and death
I thought this manhwa felt a bit slow, but I like the fl and ml! I hope they have a happy end.
To be an Emperor/Empress is no easy task, this manga clearly shows that
The gorgeous and crafty Emperor Yulia, who was used as a puppet ruler, has her body currently resided by a normal business woman. Determined to work hard as the original Yulia, this manga focuses on bettering the empire
Gosh, this manga is great at making me angry at the incompetent and corrupt nobles
Lucia is an angelic girl who is very sweet and considerate of other people. To avoid being married to a disgusting noble, she finds Duke Hugo and they have a marriage of convenience
There's many layers underneath Lucia and Hugo, and as you read on, you get to discover more about their character and their past! I think it's pretty neat, though it's a tad frustrating that it takes a while to discover their feelings!
Cecil, who lived as an illegitimate child, was suddenly married off to a tyrant. As a way to die without regrets, she acts brazenly, but instead, it attracts the attention of said tyrant. This hatches a plot for the tyrant to act hopelessly in love with his new empress to make enemies believe he has put his guard down, except, perhaps he isn't acting after all,,
I really liked the couple and their schemes, but the inclusion of uncovering the fl's backstory feels messy and confusing
Selena, who used to be a normal Korean girl who practiced kendo, was reborn as the sister of the villain's knight. However, in her new life, her brother runs away from his duties and she has to stand in his place
Good thing she practiced kendo!
I think the mc fits the archetype of the dense or oblivious one, which I don't mind.
You can tell the art improves a lot as time goes on! Not to say that it wasn't beautiful from the beginning.
This story makes me reminisce to The Reason Why Raeliana Ended up at the Duke's Mansion, if you liked that one, you might like this one too! There is quite a few plot twist, but not without reason. The romance is very wholesome and there are tropes like tsunderes that don't feel too forced
