tbh i don’t like the novel for this much. it’s understandable that tess is dumb bc of her age, but like it’s still annoying how much she f’s things up in the novel so yeah. would like this a lot more if the romance was a more subtle plot point
also have read the novel for this. i soso recommend to read it if you like this manhua. the novel has so many details that aren’t in the manhua, and the pacing is less jarring. ofc no hate to the manhua at all since i do gen rlly like it. i do think some things kinda just make more sense in the novel tho bc of the extra details
