There is a reason why this manhua rates so highly and that is simply because it’s beautiful. The love and friendship between the characters, not just the main couple but their friends and family, was so real and genuine that I didn’t want to leave their world. The power of loving and supporting those close to you regardless of their sexuality was dealt with so respectfully I was often moved to tears. I really enjoyed this story through all the twists and roadblocks to Kang Jinha and Go Siwon’s romance. When a pair are fated mates in a story, it seems a small price to pay to have to endure some angst for that lifetime of love with your perfect someone. At times for the MCs here it seemed they spent more time worrying about their rivals than each other. But by doing that the author took them from being shallow roadblocks on the pathway to true love to complex characters with feelings. Donghyun
