This is overrated. It's not worthy of the 9.8 rating, not above greats like Finder, Ten Count, At the End of the Road. Don't get me wrong. It is good, but there's not much story here, and the characters, while artfully portrayed, are not what I'd call beautiful.
It seems to me that this is one of those "safe to like" mangas. If you rave about it and give it high ratings, you can safely call yourself a "cool." That is, if there's any such thing as a cool person who always plays it safe
