MC wakes up in the body of a main character from a novel…only, in the novel, the main character dies and travels back in time, so in this life her luck is horrible. Also, our MC never finished the book…
NOTE: Complete story! It’s cute. It’s a bit too lovey-dovey for me. There is plot, and MC is fairly capable, but the plot isn’t always super clear, and I think there are one or two plot holes. If you mostly want to read it for the romance, though, then enjoy. Happy reading!
MC is…an enigma. Born in our world with a strange spiritual affinity, he dies at a young age and finds himself in a 19th century world of magic. Now, he has spent his life in one disguise or another. Until the day his plans go awry…
Really good. MC is smart and capable, and the supporting characters are unique and well-constructed. Plausible, with some humor too. A lot of the storyline is in a university-type setting, where our MC is a teacher. Looking forward to more! Enjoy!
MC is a kind girl who is often taken advantage of by her peers…until she learns the truth and dies shortly thereafter. Then, she wakes in the body of a notorious villainess. Tales of her crazy behavior precede here wherever she goes!
Quite good. MC is pretty clever and - separately - also smart. Our MC has a nice, refreshing interaction style with some of the other characters and a few really good pieces of humor. Looking forward to more!
MC is abused by her adoptive parents, and spends her life caring for her sick younger sister…until she decides she’s had enough. Then, she wakes in the body of an infamous villainess in a loving family.
Way, waayyyy darker than it seems, with a lot of focus on depression, suicide, and abuse. It’s fine, but not my favorite read and much more depressing than I’d like. Be warned, if you choose to read it! (But it IS, pretty well done.)
MC is a hardworking, quiet woman who dies before her time - leaving behind a family who barely cared for her at all. Then, she awakes in the body of a novel’s villainess. Only, somehow the original storyline keeps forcing events, even when she tries to change things?
A touch slow-moving, but quite good. The characters are pretty complex, and it’s nice that they’re well-developed and interesting, rather than black-and-white. Plot is actually pretty unique, too. Looking forward to more!
MC is a fangirl, reincarnated into the body of a rich side character with no role in the original story. So, she happily watches the original novel play out…until, after it ends, her favorite character (the 2nd ML) falls into hopeless despair and eventually dies. Then, she is brought back to the very end of the novel.
It’s pretty cute and a nice read. MC is out for revenge on some of the characters, which is interesting. Overall, enjoyable! Looking forward to more!
Our princess MC is chosen by the guardian tree to be the hope of her people - only, she has very weak powers. So she is married off to the emperor of a young empire…only to be assassinated in front of him. Then she returns to the past.
Pretty clever, with a serious danger and problem to solve, unlike some stories. It reads more like a mystery than anything, but our MC is pretty clever, and catches on pretty fast. Looking forward to more!
MC finds herself living as a side-character in one of her favorite novels. In fact, she’s content to let events take their course…until she realizes just how unhappy her character must have been in the original work. So, she decides to divorce her husband and change her circumstances.
Pretty good. MC is clever and the plot is fairly fast-paced, if a little forced at times. Still a tad short for now, I’m looking forward to more later! Enjoy!
MC is the second (and unwanted) daughter of a family desperate to find their missing eldest girl. Until the day they do, and our MC is pushed out entirely. Only, things aren’t as desperate as they seem…
Pretty good. MC is intelligent and proactive, with a trick or two up her sleeves. The plot is subtle and well-done, and although the translations get a bit rocky later on, they’re still manageable. I’m interested to see where it goes. Until then, happy reading!
MC finds herself in the body of a neglected princess from her favorite novel. So, she eventually decides she’ll live a wonderful life far from the palace…except not everything goes as planned.
Cute, engaging, and funny. Good plot and a quick pace. MC isn’t brilliant, but she IS very capable, and the side characters are well-developed. It’s too short! But I’m looking forward to more!
