Spoilers: it's a step-siblings romance, so don't read if that isn't your thing. otherwise, it's pretty good so far, though the designs of the spirits is......unique. that aspect of the story isn't very well integrated imo, and I think it was a bit jarring, but not totally a deal breaker.
a good story, and I recommend it, but just as a heads up: the translations gets a bit rough in later chapters, but not to the point that you can't figure out what's happening.
Spoiler: the eldest step-brother is the ml, so if that isn't your cup of tea, walk away and don't read. The narrative is otherwise quite good, if a bit slow in the latest chapters.
Riftan is daddy as hell, Maxi is so precious, and the art is phenomenal. the mc, Maxi, is a more realistic take on a victim of abuse, with hang-ups and symptoms of PTSD that don't instantly go away as soon as she gets away from her abuser. she's pretty meek, with a very present stutter, and her recovery is very slooooow, so if you don't vibe with shy-type mcs, this isn't the story for you; though she is beginning to come out of her shell somewhat, just not very fast lol
Snow White, but make it anime. gorgeous art that is colorful and bright and full of expression, and an mc who is lively and fun to watch. her growing relationship the titular step-daughter is precious and delightful, though the romance aspect of the story has been slow going so far, though you really won't miss it too much. highly recommend this one!
