Cecile is the abandoned illegitimate princess who is chosen as a sacrificial bride to the cruel emperor Estian. Only instead of accepting that fate, she decides to take her whole country down with her. Finding that amusing, Estian plans for her to play an “evil empress” by his side to get the nobles and politicians off his back about marrying and producing an heir.
