Works I’ve truly fallen in love/fw with (5 stars )

Tbh I had rated this 4, but looking back I don't think I've ever followed a romfantasy this consistently like I did this. It could be because the art is nothing but magnificent (it's not only gorgeous, it really highlights the period it depicts, and just traps you in emotionally), and the characters themselves make you want to keep following their journey. It's a slice of life with underlying dark tones.

At first it was decently entertaining but it gets better and better and it’s now among the stuff I wait for the most. One of the best « I'm gonna rebuild my forgotten sect to its ancient glory » manhwas.

MC is an icon.

Granted, the arcs are dragged out. It also has the type of dumb and ridiculous villains I dislike. But when you get used to the fact that it's a slow pace, non-action packed story it becomes so entertaining (and funny lmao). It isn’t a perfect webtoon by any means but the addition is rEAL ! MC carries the whole story on his shoulders, he’s so interesting to follow.

The translation isn't good often times though, raws recommended.

Awesome. Loving how his comrades are not simply background characters. The art significantly got better too. It’s a real from nothing to the best story.
