Since I take consideration always of the art style, I had to drop the story because my picky ass could no longer tolerate the color palette of the artist.

In other words, the story was not good enough to overthrow the art style.
I hated two things in this story: (1) the way fl tried to change the father and the son indirectly; I'm glad she realized that tho, and (2) the scenes were the father and son are literally competing each other for the fl's attention and affection.
