there are lots of really badass girl mcs from shoujo/romance drive plots, but this list is specifically filled with stories that are gems due to the rarity of their specific tropes/plots with a female-centered protag.

HAS ROMANCE (v stereotypical). but like, i REALLY love MC. she's empathetic, courageous, witty, extremely cunning, and super bold, and she's HILARIOUS. what rlly gets to me is the fact that she cares about the ex fiancee who died, and even calls the duke out for unintentional negligence, and throughout the series she's very considerate of airelle in a very human and sympathetic way. bc tbh, areille desreves so much better. also the duke is like, a normal dude. like he's chill u kno

The mangaka just draws him like really pretty ig lol. There's a live action for this manga and it's mc is a dude. I haven't read the og novel but if you check the wiki it says that the mc is a dude. Just thought I'd let you knowヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
