Finger tingling ish. The art and aesthetic is great. I love the calm, pretty settings and the comedic, light slice of life feel. They so stupid. This is great but being 'scared by their skin tones' isn't sitting well w/ me. I understand culture shock, esp from homogenous societies, but I'm not from one so this really ringing my racism and xenophobia alarm bells rn. Tbh, it made me disgusted and uncomfortable all over. He even said that they were all scared/shocked frozen and told her that 'they're just normal people like us'. Wow. That was some major gross vibes. Like they ARE people? What ELSE would you think they're like? Dropped here.
